Pyramids and the Sphinx

Honoring the Element of Air and the attributes of the East from the Celtic Spirit Wheel

We start our journey in Cairo with the pyramids in Giza, Dahshur, Sakkara, the Red Pyramid, the Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum, Blue Lotus Water Gardens.

Every day on the tour begins with yoga, a short meditation to set the intention of the day as we travel back in time to Ancient Egypt.

At sunset each day, we meditate, enjoy a delicious Egyptian dinner, and spend the evening immersed in Sacred Circle Dancing.

Lodging: Mercure Le Sphinx Pyramids Hotel. Meals at Mercure, the Blue Lotus Garden, and local cafes.

Luxor and the Valley of the Kings and Queens

Honoring the element of FIRE and the Spirit Wheel attributes of the South

Days 6 through 10 we immerse ourselves in the mysterious temples and tombs: Karnak, Luxor, Rasmussen, and Habu Temple complexes; tombs of King Tutankhamen, Merenpetah, Ramses III and IV. We’ll wander through the wonderful local culture of Luxor at the Carter House, an alabaster shop, bazar and Kasoum Cafe. We’ll meet a local stone cutter, potter, palm furniture & basket maker and Adel who sells and educates us about essential oils, herbs, and spices. We’ll spend time at a Sanctuary Farm and the historic Marsam Hotel.

Some evenings local musicians may join us as we celebrate Egyptian belly dancing led by one of our guides, Abulauf.

The Nile River, Temples of Horus & Kom Ombo Temple

Honoring the element of WATER and the Spirit Wheel attributes of the West

The Nile River will embrace us for four days and three nights as we cruise on the Nile Quest River Cruiser. We’ll continue yoga, meditation, and Sacred Circle Dancing. We’ll also create a Gathering Circle on the rooftop to honor Hamdy, the Spirit of the Nile and participate in a Water Ceremony. We will tour the Temple of Horus in Edfu dedicated to the falcon-headed god, Horus. Then stop at Kom Ombo Temple where the northern half was dedicated to the God Horus, and the Southern half to the crocodile God Sobek.

Evenings will include belly dancing and Jalabiyyah Party

Aswan Honoring the element of EARTH and the Spirit Wheel attributes of the North

We travel South for 4 days at a Nubian Village in Aswan. Philea Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Isis will fill our hearts and senses. We’ll travel the Nile in a faluka to Kitchener's Island for a meditative stroll among the extensive varieties of plants and trees. We’ll walk on the beach, ride camels and co-create a Nile River ceremony. We’ll have the opportunity to hear the history of the Nubian culture and spend time in the Village.
